Unable to upload images since you did "Maintenance" yesterday.

I have been using the forums from my Iphone since the beginning.
i have had no issues uploading images.
all of a sudden ( after the site was down for maintenance ) i can no longer upload images from the iphone.
its the right file type... they are only a little over 2MB each.
i tried doing them together and separate. nothing.

i decided to use the PC figuring that it must be something with the mobile...... nope! same issue!
It says that the image is not a valid file type.

its a .png. file. the same as the last ones i uploaded. nothing has changed on my end.
it would appear that others are not having this problem. anyone have a suggestion?

i have some really juicy pictures of paintwork on an Asp. got it down to 15%! i wanna show it off.

any help would be much appreciated.

It's been ages since uploading of images was supported. You have to upload them to a site like imgur and then link them here.

Oh hello sleeping beauty, this has been a thing for many moons now since loading direct to the forum was causing a server and database issue. Since then you have had to post a pic on to imgur or similar pic sharing sites and paste the URL to load a pic . So my question is how long were you asleep for to miss out on this revelation?

are you kidding me I uploaded photos from my iPhone twice in the last week and it worked just fine.
look in the degrading paint work thread and they are right there.
I even asked in one of my posts whether the images could be seen and I was told yes and people commented on how badass they looked.

It's a link, you can see it in the URL mate. Picture uploading has been disabled for a very long while but it has been working recently, but I haven't used it in case they disable it again, which it looks like they have done.

doesn't show up as a URL until I "quote" the image.

I do see it now.....

it just becomes pain in the butt when you're doing this all from mobile.
I guess I need to make one more account another login and password so that I can put images up again.
and since I was able to post directly from my phone and can no longer do so it really does feel like a tremendous step backwards.

what is the most highly recommended image upload site.
what does most of this community use ?
the IMGUR or whathave you?

I've been uploading all my images from my windows phone up till the maintenance. Maybe android was kicked back then but seems iPhone and wp weren't till now...
