"Unauthorised installation" at Isinor.

Taking a break from the Background Simulation (BGS) I decided to work on obtaining the Isinor system permit (I collect them and it has nostalgia value because I used to trade between Qutiri and Isinor in Acorn Electron Elite).

I've just reached that mini-milestone and paid the system a visit. An "unauthorised installation"? I wondered what that might be so went to visit it...

... and ran pretty sharpish!

Another little surprise for people to discover (I won't spoil what is there if you don't already, if curious I'm sure that there will be something about it somewhere on the InterWebNet-thing) - nicely done Frontier, nicely done! :)

That's nice. Now Isinor can be used not only for ACED farming at Convoy Beacons, but also as one of the best places for bounty hunting.

(In case you don't know: Unauthorised Installations are essentially pirate bases. Lots and lots and LOTS of high-ranked pirates spawn there, and no police or traders or miners in sight. They're all yours. Great place to work on your combat rank. Bring your best combat ship.)

Looks like it's different from the old ones. A pirate base of Gould Gang, under siege by Lonegan Gang. Or vice versa, the base has no visible ownership marks. There are some nice ship in play (Elite Cutters and Corvettes), but they do not respawn if killed. And Lonegan Gang shows as clean.

Sorry to raise this old thread, but...

why Maodun Unauthorised Installation in Isinor can't be scanned? Is it just me or bug or...? The scan process simply won't start (yes, I deployed).

Note that the second Unauthorised Installation (Greywood centre / Isinor 6) can be scanned (also, this one is not even mentioned in https://canonn.science/codex/orbital-installations/ list).

You know, Isinor is one of those indigenous generation ship culture systems, humans have this amazing plasticity to create new religions and languages when you put them in a tin can surrounded by void for a couple of centuries. These didn't fancy being in space and consider people riding spaceships morally dubious, hence no authorizations or permits for orbital installations of any kind.
