Unconnected.... All... Night....

Everytime I launch the game all I get is the tutorial... server listed just spins on unconnected...

Nah All other outbound connections are good, already kicked the systems... Not gunna be playing tonight that's for sure.. Gotta love that DRM style...

I have been getting it to the last 2 days, the START button is greyed out.. I reinstalled last night and it was ok for a few hours, and now its back again.. I see the IP and "server unconnected" message. My router has upnp enabled and firewall is allowing ED.

Regularly get bouts of constant disconnections. Some times it is the game and other times it is my crappy IP so can never get really mad at one as the other maybe the culprit this time. I do get times when Start is greyed out but I can go surf the internet or download something else. Hopefully fully stable server connections will come soon.

Update.. connected my PC to the internet without the router (Linksys E4200), and immediately connected. in ED... then reconnected back through the router as normal and was again 'unconnected".

Trying the port forward options now and editing the config file.. will report back.. Edit: this also didnt work.

I've also been getting "Unconnected" against the server IP for past 2 days. However, Frontier Service STATUS says all is OK. There is no explanation. Will try tomorrow.

I don't think you should do this, I was under the impression that if you do your save file will be lost (but perhaps I am mistaken)

You are mistaken - the save is on the FD servers. The above posts would point to a firewall/port blocking issue - it's been fine all night for me (UK based).
