Underground Power and Water Treatment

OK just been experimenting and built this underground the Unit works but says not accessible? Mechanic seems fine. Is it that you can not build them underground

Do you happen to have a screenshot of the setup (And heatmaps if possible) so we can get a better idea of the layout?

I do not have habitats yet. just 1 staff room and workshop and a mechanic. The following pictures will show the Power And water Treatment is working. If you need more let me know

Is it connected to a path that leads to the entrance?

try lowering the units so the grey floor part is flattend with the ground? maybe they are a bit to high

Hi Thanks for responses, Yes Paths are all connected, I did try lowering but would not have it! I deleted it and will try again some time. At present working on layouts etc
