Undermining a faction through murder and going to an interstellar factors.

Is this possible can I just go ham against a faction I don't like and interstellar factors myself once I want to go back to the system?

If I remember this right. As long as the controlling faction is not in charge of the dock/station and there is multiple places to dock in that system.

Otherwise just fly to a place nearby for the same result.

I call this merit farming. Do it once per week for 30 pnts per ship, 1500 merits total per week. Is this what your talking about? For some reason, when its powerplay there's no notoriety just the bounty to pay off.

Yeah suspect that the stations they own won't be happy what about if I attack them in other systems they are in? None powerplay talking about BGS

It's a good question, especially considering that everything seems to flow to investment/civil liberty these days.

I'm still a BGS noob, but the only thing I can think of is killing a bunch of innocents. Though with the notoriety you'll get, you'll have the ATR chasing after you, so it might be an uphill battle.

I'm BGS ignorant. The nerds tell me what missions to run in what system and I do what I'm told, I dont know why half the time.

If you blackmarkets locked any suggestions what to do to break this state?
Put a Social or Criminal ethos faction in charge of the station and it should re-open. (Not a lot of use to you in this particular case, I expect)

It seems to be extremely difficult to reduce economy or security states at the moment. Some of this may be a bug.

Depending on how high you're willing to go - murder bounties nowadays can add up quickly - it can be more cost-effective to sell your wanted ship after taking the modules off, buy a new hull, and clean and re-fit the modules.

Murder sometimes works in 3.3. Kill 10 (or a number that will produce an effect based on population) and check the influences the next day as to avoid doing that for nothing over and over. You might find that only the security bar drops and not INF directly. Working as intended or bug? Who knows.

If you take missions that ask you to kill inocents in that system i think the notoriety is disabled in the mission targets. And you will get payed for the mission to help pay the bounties you rack up. I dont play the BGS on any thing but a casual level so i might be wrong.
