Undo keeps undoing my entire queue

Suddenly when I hit undo it undoes everything I've done back to the beginning of the undo queue, with no redo button. It's like it resets the queue completely. How do I fix this?

Edit: Managed to fix this by reloading, but how can I avoid this in the future? This could be really screw things up again.

I also have this annoying bug. There is nothing you can do but save the game whenever you make progress. Or just not use the undo button.

FWIW I had this happen one time as well. Fortunately it seems like a really rare bug, but when I saw it was just going to keep happening in the session, I shut down and reloaded and it was fine. And that was well over a year ago at least. Chances are it won't happen again, hopefully. Probably worth notifying Frontier if it does keep happening.

I actually never had this bug, except for the last months and now it happens regularly.

For me, it comes in phases. I'll not have the problem for months, then a cluster. I've not found a successful workaround except to quite and reload. It ... should go away again, eventually. No idea why it happens.

So far as I've experienced, it only happens to paths. If I had to guess, it's something to do with the paths tendency to try and auto-complete/link.
