Undockable surface outposts having an economy type

Just noticed in the Asset lists for Factions, that Undockable surface outposts have economy types

Have they always or is this new?

It isnt shown on the System map that I can see?

Yes, they've always had them.

They do sometimes appear on the galaxy map as part of the system economy data if there's only one other station in the system.
