Ships Unengineered AX Conda

Hello my fellow ship build theoreticians 😁

I'm in the mood of spending money and doing something stupid(tm).

So what about an unengineered Conda for AX combat?

Granted, it's filled to the brim with guardian MRPs, HRPs and experimental guns, but it only costs money.
375 million to be precise, plus the price of the multilimpet controller, which might be handy, and bought at Jameson Memorial.
And propably quite a sum to transfer to the Pleiades, because I won't fly that thing down there.

Did anyone test something similar before?

I'm especially wondering how the nearly 30% caustic resistance works out, and the shock cannons against scout.
It might even be able to kill a Cyclops, but only in an NHSS, in an AX CZ you can't scan the Goid.

Shock Cannon v2 ? (new version)

Hello my fellow ship build theoreticians 😁
Well, with this pick-up line I feel entitled to add some thoughts of mine : )

I built an AX Anaconda, too. Mostly because the two Huge hardpoints of a Federal Corvette are wasted with the current AX weaponry.
I wanted 4 Guardian Gauss cannons on the ship to forego synthesis to pluck all hearts and petals of at least one interceptor, plus beams because I hope all Thargoids have some sensitivity to heat and to keep the ship cool.

I understand that the 7B Collector Limpet controller in your build on coriolis.io is dubbing for a 7B Universal Limpet Controller. There's no lightweight mod for the latter, but maybe we can soften FDev into submission to allow some engineering on the new Limpet Controllers.

I am very interested to know whether the caustic resistance does help to wear off the Thargoid's caustic effect over time.
Without caustic resistance the effect was permanent or at least lasting too long for me, each time until I removed it through overheating the ship or using a Decontamination Limpet.
Stations didn't allow me to dock as long as the caustic effect was applied to my ship.
In my own tests the Scout's Caustic effect is removed immediately when the ship is overheated to 120°C, I don't know if it is different for Interceptors.
I've in my notes from somewhere that the Thargoid's caustic effect rather eats away a percentage of your total armor than a constant amount over time, which makes repairs faster and cheaper if there is not too much armor. I've also noted that caustic damage is mitigated by having shields up.
As a result I put a Repair and a Decontamination Limpet controller (was earlier in 2021) plus a large AFMU in my Anaconda. It has no caustic resistance as I don't think it makes up for the loss in raw resistance compared to Heavy Duty engineered HRPs.

I believe you are a good shot, but are the 1.2km/s shot speed of Shock Cannons enough to substantially add to the AX multi-cannons against Scouts? Remember that, unless you have a gunner, experimental turrets operate as fixed weapons (or was this changed recently)? Edit: You got the gimballed versions, my short term memory is bad for this kind of thing.
And is it possible to combine 4 experimental plus 4 AX weapons on the same ship?

What do you intend to use against the Thargon swarm or missile? Can the AX multis handle that? I am for swatting, decontaminating and repairing, but this may not work out well for me ; )

PS: I have an SLF on mine, they are cheap ammo as far as I am concerned.
