(Unfortunate) Incident report - Bowersox Port, Winiama

To the Cmdr that just lost their Cutter in the mail slot of the Bowersox Port, in Winiama - Sorry, but not sorry. Please be aware that I was past the point of no return (inside the grill on the outside of the station) and never had the chance to slow down and stop then reverse out once you decided two Cutters could fit through a mail slot at the same time. Going on the speed your Cutter exploded, I expect my G5 Prismatic shields + numerous shield boosters probably saved me the same fate.

Might pay to take an extra 5 seconds next time to check who is about when entering and exiting a station. :)

And a reason to play in solo ......

Although even NPCs can cause your destruction when appearing in your way. I have lost several ships when autodocking and a ship has spawned in the way. Too late to do anything but curse.

Gosh. If neither ship was speeding, then the dead Cutter must have been made of paper...

LOL.
Brake today, stop tomorrow...
I have to wonder how much the Panther Clipper stops (doesn't stop) once we get it, though it may of course also depend on its top speed. My expectation is at best something T9-ish, if not worse... though I wouldn't mind a faster speed even if it does not reach Cutter levels, maneuverability levels are preferable and it's partly why I'm beginning to take to the T10 as a hauler - with guns to 'discourage' pirates - since it makes my brain less tempted to throw itself into the nearest sun.

But yes... I don't expect that one to slow down easily either.

Immovable object vs. unstoppable force. I think if two Panther's collide in the mail slot the station explodes.

Definitely not speeding on my part - can't speak for the other guy. I know I wasn't, there was ALOT of NPC traffic about, I had to wait for at least 5 exiting ships before starting my very slow approach, I don't trust NPC's... now I don't trust other Cutter CMDRs - bit like RL driving...;)
