So I have been down in the Kappa system where the federation is atm and I may or may not have killed 200 or so farmers and completed 3 warzone missions against them and totally did not assassinate one of their leaders. This has apparently resulted them in being unfriendly towards me (No idea why, temperamental children) so what this mean? this just mean they don't like me or will the price of refuel-rearm increase for me or will they actively kill me?

Unfriendly isn't that bad.
It's just like they are a bit unhappy of your presence.
But you will be able to dig deeper into their nerve.Once you're hostile, docking into the stations can be quite fun.
Thanks for info. I don't know why they are unfriendly though. Maybe it is because I am not distributing onion head, I imagine it is not because I have killed 200 or so farmers and one of their leaders. oh well, now to do more assasinations.
