Unify pc and consolle servers

I would like to team up with some friends of mine but... I am on xbox and they are on pc.
I would like to see plenty of cmdrs, but the universe seems so empty...

Is bringing all the cmdrs together at least in the roadmap?

They all use the same (Amazon) servers... As to cross play, I seem to recall it's as much on the console manufacturers as anyone.

I agree ! Bring all pilots in the same universe, we should be able to cross our paths, no matter what console or PC we are using to pilot.

This is actually a valid feature request. Until recently, especially Sony has been holding cross-platform play back, but this is changing, see:

Of course, for all we know, enabling cross-play in Elite could be non-trivial and also put more load on the servers etc. But it certainly would be interesting to hear FD's view on the matter!
