Greetings Utopians!
Two weeks ago a new PMF appeared in Kenna, the UNION INTERESTELAR DE COMANDANTES LIBRES (https://inara.cz/wing/2815/). Contact was made immediately and conversations are ongoing. The powers that be have deemed it a good idea for this democratic faction to start life in the Antal control system of Kenna (thanks powers that be!) and so first contact has been somewhat complicated. As a gesture of good will, IUCLI have requested that we not block their attempts to control Kenna and expand to one further system.
As lead negotiator at this time, I have said I would bring this to our public forums and request that Utopian commanders accept this initial move by the IUCLI. What has been suggested so far is that this then lead to expanding out of the Kenna bubble in to an area free of Powerplay interference, where they might go about their business unhindered.
However, this is only one cmdr’s opinion, worth nothing in the eyes of Pranav. I would ask all Utopian cmdrs to consider this option and give their opinion here. Should the hive see this as an error I shall desist with immediate effect. However, I personally consider this an opportunity to avoid an unnecessary conflict which deserves a chance.
