Ships Unique ship details and animations

I recently noticed some ships have unique details on their models, like extra animations, things that can open or close or otherwise move beyond the default things all ships share (i.e. not just heat vents opening or landing gear deploying). I'd like to see whether all ships have something like that, and possibly gather screenshots of everything.

Let's start with the Fer-de-Lance: when charging the FSD, these panels of light activate on the engine pods:

On the Imperial Courier, the engines in the nacelles are retracted when the landing gear is deployed:

The Diamondback's two side-engines can swivel and point down, which is also used to completely bring the landing gear to the ground:

Nice attention to detail, and great job with the animations, it doesn't show in the screenshots, obviously, but these things can be seen moving in the debug camera. :D

Has anyone found something else, for these ships or any of the others? I bet other ships also have these unique touches. :)

Not surprisingly, the Diamondback Explorer has the same animated engine/wing sections as the Diamondback Scout:

Just wanted to commend FD on the new ship. At first I thought it was just a recasted Scout, until I got a better look at the model...and its animations!

Its bigger, meaner, fatter (very pig like, tbh) and has some nifty animations. Such as the landing gear!

(Couldn't find someone I could record, so I just took some before and after photos for now)

Seems to be designed with planetary landings in mind (STOL maybe?)

With all these great extras, it's a wonder that FD wanted us to never see them.
Thankfully, we have the debug cam.

I am surprised the retracting Nacelles on the Courier hasn't been mentioned more often
It was a Courier feature was it not.

Several ships have Gangways that Deploy when the gear go down

You can see the Adders, I know the type 6 has one as well

I hated my Adder, with the restricted view and the chugga-chugga engine noise. In some ways I didn't mind because at least FD had made the effort to make them different. The Adder had a coffee cup holder which was a nice touch. A bit like my VW Golf....

Recently bought a Cobra, and discovered that it has heated seats!

Also, I've found the door where the pilot enters, complete with safety rail

If you ever need to manually open the cargo scoop on a Cobra, just remember to follow the instructions circled

Such wonderful details on the ships

Bravo to the Designers and Artist

thats not an O2 as in oxygen, its an 02 as in 01 which is the label of the first CO2 Scrubber on the other side.

and that "Emergency Escape" how doe shte pilot iuse it? It's in a strange location related to the pilot.

And yes many ships have great details.
Only the clipper is weird, because it has a "caution" hot surface device IN the cockpit. whats that good for? heating the cabin?

It's the microwave oven of course! (And the coffee maker combined in one)

Great images of the FDL and DB totally new to me and typical of the Imperials covering up a dirty old engine exhaust ;)

One of my favourites is the Eagles cooling system although I initially thought it was the fuel scoop I'd been using at the time (there should be a scooping effect if there isn't already) the top doors close slowly as the heat dissipates, I assume the underside "lanterns" do too.
