Hi everyone here,
I'm loving the route planning feature but find myself typing the same faraway star in the navigation tab to get where I want to go… (if I'm making any sense / english isn't my mother tongue)
So I wonder if it wouldn't be a good idea to have a "most typed" feature in the navigation search bar.
What do you think?

trying to revive the thread after a month to find out whether it's a plain silly idea or if I just didn't make any sense.

Example:
I'm trying to get to some faraway star system and once in the galaxy map, I need to type that star name to see what direction to take.
I wonder if it wouldn't be a bad addition to get some history feature where you type the name of the star, like in google.
So instead of having to type let's say "CHR 5007 GH f" you could just type "C" or "CH"

i've not tried it but maybe Ctrl+v (paste) works? that would solve the problem (if it works).

testing now.

Edit: yup, that works although you cant copy in game so you'd need to alt+tab out and type it into a text doc or web page to load the name into your clipboard

EDIT: Actually, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V doesn't work for me. I haven't tried to Ctrl+C outside of Eliteangerous in order to paste later in the game. I still think an history feature would be good.
Although, I'm still heading in the right direction just fine (only with a bit more of typing)
