The most useful thing for explorers would be for the universal controller to be available for size 6 slots, i.e. available for the Krait Phantom/Asp Explorer. Otherwise only the big big ships with size 7 slots can fit them which are rarely used for exploring.

The whole point for explorers is that you never know what you are going to run in to... so if we cannot get a universal controller for our exploration ships then it once again feels a little bit like we get shafted.

The alternative is to add a Universal "Lite" for 6 size slots which you can choose from 7 of the 8 limpet types - but I suspect that would be more work than simply making it size 6
