Like - speed of limpets? Do things vary depending on whether, fuel, collector, etc.?

Simple.
They have the characteristics of one size lower, same grade single (normal) controllers
So the
- 7A ULC has the equivalent of size 5A single limpet controllers (where available) - 5A prospectors, 5A collectors, 5A repair, 5A fuel transfer, 5A hatch breaker, 5E Decon, 5E Recon, 1E Research
- 7C ULC has the 5C variants where possible, respectively 5E and 1E
Same for size 3 MLC, they have the size 1, same grade limpets - with the only caveat that the size 3 Xeno limpets apparently have the 3E decon limpets instead of size 1E so the decon limpets repair better than the repair limpets
Now, with al this info available to you, you only need to check the respective single controller parameters and find the limpet speeds, range, duration, effectiveness, etc
Basically - they didn't invented any new limpets, just cumulated the functions from the old limpets
