Universe's greatest heist - 500,000 Tons of gold gone!

So I have this great trade route, netting me about 2500 cr per 9min round trip.
The station I was buying gold from had just under 1 million tons in stock and were on the verge of an economic boom.
As of a few minutes ago they now have under 500,000 tons of gold left and my route is ruined.

Those thieves must be caught and the gold returned to their rightful owners.

Nvm, it was a glitch, the robbers have been found and all is well again.

Contrairy to earlier reports, the thieves managed to escape with their booty and the gold is still missing.

I wanted to feel like I was flying a Type 9 (the space turd) again so I strapped 10 Anaconda's and 15 Type7's to my ship, filled up all their cargo slots and I can now feel like I'm in a Type 9 again.

That would require 1,000 Lakon-9 ,there wasn't even 200 visit to the system in the last 24h and the largest ship to have visited the system other than me is a Lakon-7.

I don't think the NPC economy is handled by actual NPC ships in-game, but by the background simulation.

So, the dynamic market is working sometimes. Good news! A few more patches and trading will become less repetitive, I hope.

Frontier have done that on and off since beta.

I think they sometimes have scripts running in the background checking for to much supply/profits,... whenever it detects one. nukes the supply.

Well a civil war just started, maybe that was the cause. Gotta need cash for those ship you're losing.

I just noticed exactly the same with my route: 20mins ago supply of gold was high at just over 50000. I made one return trip (10m) and this time supply was at medium with ~35k. After another round trip supply is back up to ~77k, but the price is slightly higher than it was at 50k.
