I flew by two different spots yesterday on the far side. Praei6 and Praeii3 or something like that. I tried to route plan through it but unfortunately it wouldn't take. I'm also guessing some sort of sudo alien race that is the direct mirror of the human races bubble.

Distant Worlds basecamp 17 was situated just 750 LYs from the southern Bleia borders. Defiantly worth keeping an eye on to see what FD have planned for out there!

Yes, I noticed that too. Halted my 'descent' onto the galactic plane after skimming over the core. It's a pretty big area, didn't have time to explore it but may go back if it hasn't already been tagged. I have come across several, time will tell I guess.
I realized just how large this area is when I tried plotting my course around it today. Five sectors. It will be interesting to see what comes out of there. That link you provided Erimus is great.. I like the one theory that the devs do their open play testing in there.. wouldn't it be funny if there was an exact replica of the bubble inside. [big grin]

I really wish they would do something with these areas soon than later. They are vast areas blocked off from us and they look like they have some interesting items in them. Be nice if something interesting came out of them. I wouldn't mind rigging up a fighter and heading out.... once I get back from my trip of course.
