Unknown Permit Required

Hey folks,

Just trying an experiment and flying out from the bubble kind of in a straight line through Merope. Figured that the Thargoids might be headed towards Sol from wherever they are coming from and that Merope is on the way...

I came across a locked system - HD 26373 which I can't seem to find on any list of permit locked regions.

Just wanted to share that with the community

Yes there's a number of systems waiting to be unlocked when FD decide to flick some switches.

When 2.3 was due to be launched, I had parked up on a planet in HIP 22460 & waited (it was thought that something would occur & this system was a likely candidate).

Then 2.3 hit & the system was suddenly permit locked despite me being on a planet & I'd scanned all bodies in the system days before. My ship was placed in the Asteroid base in the nearby Pleione system & it's still permit locked now. I can view the system in the system map & can see that there's a megaship orbiting the planet that MAY contain an Alien base!

I'm edging my bets & hanging around the region for when 2.4 hits it may well open & will be worth a visit.....I hope.

But as FD hold all the fingers that flick the switches, we can only wait & hope!

HD 26373 is of course a star system, not a galaxy. And it's smack in the middle of the COL 70 Sector, which is a well-known permit-locked region since the sector was locked down in 2.1.

Thanks Sapyx...after posting that I went back in game and noticed that it was right in the middle! :-D Thought I'd found something interesting! Ah well!
