Unlock More Thargoid Content before PS4

I think the PS4 version will get better reviews by unlocking more Thargoid content before the PS4 launch. Because one thing ED needs is more content.

Such as the stuff in this trailer. We got the Raider Ship Kit, but not the alien base/crashed ship yet.

I don't agree with this. Let us get in the game first. I want to experience what existing players have had. (Yourself included I assume)

There is more than enough for us PS4 users to go at, let us experience the evolving galaxy with you, not after its all taken place.

This is exactly my problem with not having the PS4 version yet. This is a pivotal time in ED and us PS4 players cannot even participate in it. Plus as I mentioned on another thread, one we do get into the game, it takes a while to build yourself up to be able to actually get out there and be competitive. This is why I am glad there is not cross play right now. Eventually yes that would be nice but it will be a little while before we have strong PS4 commanders out there. I have had the pleasure of paying a little bit on my sons XB1 (Try to ground him from it every chance i get! HAHA! J/K) and it is tough and it is a grind. This is why I would like the PS4 version because that system is mine and I can play ED every time I turn it on. I just want to participate in the cannon of this game!

wonder if those brainy explorer groups have worked it out yet, heard they can get a star system from a single screen shot. there geeks, then nerds, and finally the best of the best ED explorers lol

Not long ago we didn't know whether there would be a ps4 version. Be happy.

Actually we have known for a long time that there was going to be a PS4 version of this game. Microsoft just had exclusive rights to it for a period of time but once that ended they would look to release it on PS4. I am happy that we are getting it and not saying anything different. What I am saying is that, since it is coming and there is a lot going on that I want to be part of it as does everyone else.

They have already worked out the system, planet and coordinates of the planet with the alien base from the trailer video above. Now we are just waiting for the permit lock to dissapear on the system so we can go poke it :p

i think it is a bit of a problem FDev have at the moment, between releasing new content for pc/xb1 while at the same time keeping enough to engage new ps4 players. my personal preference would be to hold out releasing anything big until after the ps4 release, so that way ps4 players can feel like they can get involved in the growing stories and mysteries of the galaxy

You don't need to be competitive to explore. Even the sidewinder will do, as only the fsd really needs to be maxed out.

Do one cg and you'll probably have enough for the advanced disco scanner and a surface scanner too. o7

Do you know which one it is off the top of your head without me having to search the forum for it?

That's one of the things that really appeals to me about exploration. It can be done on a relatively small budget. Although I really am coveting the DBX...

There will be more Thargoid stuff for sure with update 2.4. That's included with the PS4 version. Other stuff like the Ancient Ruins can be explored at any time.

There's a drought of new content, aside from the Generation Ships, until Frontier lifts the permit lock of the planet where the crashed alien ship is. I estimate the update 2.4 beta is 2 months from now at least. So the stuff in the Unknown Trailer could fill the gap until the 2.4 beta.

Star Citizen designers have stated that there will NEVER be a councle version. Well, once the pc market is depleated, the investors are will make them seek other avenues. Both MS and Sony will place their bids, the winner will get a minimum of a one year exclusive and the looser will have to wait. Though the councle versions may not offer the same exact quality as the pc. When it comes to investing, it's the bottom line that counts. PC market version sales depleated, two other markets available; Duh! So, yes, we all knew it was comming. The problem is, because NS had an exclusive, Frontier has to be tight lipped. Which means the closer release date comes, the longer it seems.

Totally agree, mate

well to be honest if they give all the good stuff to pc/xb1, you then have a lot of ps4 players who have been waiting since news of ED:horizons q2 will seriously look else where. i for one can't wait to get ED and be a day one, first hour player, but i also hope that us ps4 cmdrs get left some stuff to find.

Again, totally agree! I said as much in Tuesday stream.
