It's that time of year!

FD, you know you want to unlock those utilities, you know you do... :D

It'll "give the Mk III something over the Mk IV."

It's only fair, and doesn't breach "exclusivity contracts".

Isn’t that implying the III isn’t already superior to the IV?

(Though I’m not against a III buff on the grounds it’s a fun ship anyway)

I agree. The only difference would be is IV a little larger and an extra hard point.

or.... they could just make the MK4 Available to all, been long enough for Horizons pre-order(er's) to test fly it ;)

Problem solved, then the next exlusive ship offer (which I highly doubt FDev will do after the friction of the Cobra Mk4) pre-orders will give players the exclusive ship for a year before openly making it public. :)

To be fair the Cobra really does have two unused utility mounts.

They can be found on top of the ship.

I'm a big fan of unlocks of things already clearly present on the models (T7 5th hardpoint anyone ?), but that won't stop me from campaigning to unlock the Cobra IV for everyone.

The cobra III is superior to the cobra IV simply because of the massive speed difference alone. the cobra III doesn't need a buff. if anything the cobra IV needs a buff because of its absolutely garbage speed base.

Also, no, frontier doesn't want to do anything you said.

And another one who completely misses the point of the MK IV. That ship isn't about speed, why would it when the MK III already is ? It's all about 8 optional internals and 5 hardpoints on a small pad frame, which gives it a ton of utility outside of combat. And it's dirt cheap.

You work for Frontier?

Unless you do, your statement on their behalf holds no meaning.

Why don't your self that same question and I bet 100% you don't work for Frontier. The thing is Frontier Values all our views on an idea. Not just your idea.

I think his statement has more meaning than your idea. But that my view. I think Frontier Value everyone views on a idea.

I never said I did.

Y'all blowing a bit of harmless wordplay way out of proportion.

Not everything is literal.

your statement about frontier wanting to buff the cobra holds no meaning either. if frontier wanted to change anything in regards to the mark 3 or the mark 4 they would have done so already when they recived an avalanche of feedback about it when the mark 4 first came out.

You are assuming what frontier wants to do with the game and your assumptions are false.

So are yours. Boom. Impasse.

Would not mind at all, seeing as the MkIV appears to be forever locked away from the majority of the player base. Call it a consolation prize.

Useless ship for pvp or pve and finds most use as a bubble taxi but I've noticed the hauler has a second hard point parallel to the first.
