Engineers Unlocking Qwent

Howdy Cmdrs 07, I'm trying to unlock Mr Qwent by killing for bounty in Hip 8396 which is a Sirius Corporation controlled system. Both stns are also Sirius controlled. Currently I'm at Titus stn (it's a big rock ). I've attained 3.1 million in bounties and turned em in. Trust me in this system it wasn't fast cash either. No big ticket wanted pirates. The biggest I killed was around the 75k mark.

No matter, As of last night I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY BECOME ALLIED! (yay me! ).
13 hrs latter I have still yet to receive an invite, mission...... oooorrrr a permit to Sirius.

Is there something I missed or should I keep plugging away in hi res?

Are you sure it's Sirius Corp. or is it Sirius Incorporated?
(sometimes you have to log off/log on to get the invite)

Since I've stated that I became allied over 12 hrs ago...... I'm at HIP 8396 controlled by Sirius Corporations and both stns are controlled by the faction.... I have definitely logged on an off several times since then in an effort to get the invites expedited.... Nothing has happened thus far. Hence back to the original question..... What have I missed, haven't I done or should I keep plug'n away until something happens.?

18hrs and 4.3 million in bounty claims later..... Still nothing.
I think I found the caveat in the haystack

Procyon isn't even a Sirius Corp controlled system. I don't see a presence either.
Luytens Star however is.
I pulled in there and the permit was waiting for me to pick up.
These lil caveats should be more obvious with the game instead of being so subtle as to drive us bonkers.

Either way, I'd like to thank the 103 commanders who merely looked at this thread and offered precisely squat.
You could have been of tremendous help for which I would have forever be grateful and eternally in your debt.
