Unlocking Technology Broker Blueprint

So I decided to try one of the technology brokers' blueprints (the MA hull reinforcement, to be specific) and, unless I'm missing something, I need to show up with 28 MA's in my hold. Is there really no way to collect them piecemeal? Are my alternatives to just relog at a barnacle site or at Darnielle's Progress until I have all 28?

I tried to reduce the relog by using a barnacle forest, but there only 2 in an instance, so fail. 13 relogs.

One benefit, I was visited by thargoids 3 times while doing it. Not see one at a site before. Lots of pretty screen shots

I sort of assumed FDev thought relogging was part of the designed game play. Either that of they are having a huge laugh at the players expense.

Why when you8 can buy the 56 needed from Darnielle's Progress and unlock both tech that uses meta alloys in one go
