Unpopular animal species in game

Is there some animal in the game, that you like the inclusion of, but it seems disliked by the majority ?

One of my examples would be Arctic Wolf. I prefer them to their grey counterparts, their white coats are beautiful, play really lovely contrast against grass and forest, their fur is fluffier giving them more unique look as not a simple reskin.

Do you have your examples ?

Ah yes, we agree on Tapir. I even rooted for Malayan instead of SA species for base game.

Regarding otters I wanted to see one, any, species in game. With GOs now my needs are satisfied

Most people don't care about the lion-killers Gemsbok and Sable Antelope, they are among my favorites.
I love Pronghorn and Springbok, while most people prefer the boring Thomson's Gazelle.
I think most people don't really care for Gharials, which are my favorite crocodilians.
Cassowary are hated by some because they replaced the Emu, but I'm thankful for them being in, they are my favorite animal in the world.
I also love Giant Otters, I don't care for the cute little variants most people seem to beg for.
Most women dislike Gila Monster and Komodo Dragons, I love them to death.

Other than that I think I'm the only person who hates Chimpanzee's and Bonobo's, ugly, feral, scary human-like craetures, give me Gorilla and Orangutan over them anyday.

I love every animal, so basically all the unpopular animals I enjoy. My particular favorites:

1. Dingo - they are a part of culture and the ecosystem, and they are iconic
2. Southern Cassowary - these add a bunch of character to my zoos
3. Giant Otter - I love them in the game as much as I do in real life

I was really happy to see a cassowary in the game. I've seen a lot of people moan about not having emus, but frankly as an Australian, I'm really pleased Frontier included the cassowary instead of emus, since I think fewer people in real life know and appreciate the rainforest birds. Also, getting emus and red kangroos would annoy me a little bit, only because Australia does actually have a lot of really interesting creatures deserving of global recognition and conservation (in my humble opinion) besides the like, handful that everyone seems to know, and I like that Frontier decided to use the platform to give cassowaries a bit of love.
