Unreasonable mission requirements

Before Patch 1.4 I used to take various missions and have fun. With my merchant rank on trading I could take smuggling missions for 200K credits. Now I cant, as they require elite rank or one lower than that... I mean ? ... I cannot even get mission for 100K. ALL the missions are locked for me. Why did you increase those requirements???? People with Elite status and big ships won't do missions for 200K anyway, as they can earn lots more from doing other stuff...

Missions are just broke, so please, I ask you kindly, make them as they were before 1.4.

Also, is this all because of that long-ranged smuggling missions which could give you like 500K-2M credits? I missed out on that opportunity and heard that people earned enough to buy a python in no time... this is pretty stupid, first thousands of people get insanely rich, then people who missed out can't even get credits for cheap upgrades

Not only did they make insane cash amounts per mission, they probably abused the mode switching BB refresh to get multiples of the same mission. Depending on how much cargo space is required, you could potentially make an ungodly amount of money in one trip.

I thought it would be considered an exploit, but I found 2 posts from staff saying its ok and its how the game was designed.

Ok, that doesn't really matter now as it got nerfed to the ground. ...I just want my regular missions back. I really don't want to scan market or pew pew random factions in civil war
Everything requires ALLIED and Broker or above.... I am playing since lauch...casually... and i am still not allied with federation! just friendly!! seriously, this game feels like the biggest grind ever. I have heard there is some reputation loss for not playing all the time? Is this for real? That would explain why I cannot get allied with federation.

It seems random what missions are on the board so maybe you are just a bit unlucky if it is only posting high rank of those missions, that said there are plenty of smuggle and trading missions about.
