Unrecoverable transaction error. STILL HAPPENING!

Ok, it was gamma testing there was no need to stress over it, bugs expected, but you know what?


This is now supposed to be a full game, every other jump bring up the unrecoverable transaction error, boots me out and then lets me log back into the system I had previously been in ready to attempt it again, If i had bought this today i would be seriously p. off, I'm slightly less so because it was obvious game wasn't ready for release despite the stupid grins and applause all round in the "red button video" so i was expecting issues.

NOt the way to win a loyal gamer base FD, thought you lot were different.

Is it happening for you in both Open and Solo? It's playing fine for me here in Open. What is your ISP, router model, network adapter then we may be able to help?

All exactly the same as they were in gamma one when it wasn't happening, nothing has changed on my end and I've been in since Alpha gamma two did the damage and it hasn't been fixed.

I'm having matchmaking errors and connection drops from time to time.
EDIT: Now that you mention it I never had problems during beta, but had them during gamma.

I've started getting this too, today .. I'm out exploring, and it would seem that every 3rd or 4th jump results in this error, but it happened suddenly and out of nowhere, and have stuck with me since, for maybe 3 hours .. I'm no wizard, but my immediate thought would be, that my stored data on systems and planets and what-not is getting out of hand, and the server is just giving up on me every 3rd or 4th jump that I make .. now, I have absolutely no idea what the servers are doing that could justify kicking me back to the menu and giving me that error, but I just don't see any other possible reason, given that I have visited 400+ systems on my current journey, EVERYTHING explored thanks to the Advanced Discovery Scanner, and a cautious guess-timate is that I have individually scanned 120 objects ( a ton of astroid clusters, and only a handfull of stars and planets )

just posting this here in case someone stumbles across it, and can recognize my story, and/or know more about how the game juggles the data, and what it has to go through every now and then when you make a jump .. would love to know more about all these 'behind the sceens' things, would help me better identify future problems, and gather some info that could be of use to anyone at FD tasked with actually fixing said problem

Yeah, I had several of these earlier today while exploring. I play in open mode.

Such problems were awfully common in gamma. I hope they aren't coming back!

Had this once tonight, first time every. I think maybe its something to do with the Auth server as it lost connection at the same time. But i logged back in exactly where i left off and everything is AS was...

It's not going to help you much, but I've experienced this precisely once since premium beta.

nope looks like this one ias at frontiers end, the auth server is where all the data goes to their secure database end. Its where u call and send data. The universe data isnt p2p like the instances, this could explain why the faction and influence systems arent budging

Started getting these yesterday and continuing today. It only happens while hyperdrive is active, arguably right before I am supposed to jump into next system.
As an explorer, I am supposed to make loads of jumps between systems, and it happens in all game modes.
I just hope I won't be screwed beyond repair when I finally go back to a station only to find out my Universal cartographics data is missing.
