Unshare a shared Wing Delivery Mission. What happens?

So in a wing with w friend who is helping me move cargo. However we don't have enough to fill both our ships for the last run but I have other missions. So here's what I am wondering. With my friend still having cargo in his hold from the mission I shared, what happens if I unshare the mission? Does the mission end up being considered failed? Are the goods considering illegal to the game and he will be shot?

I ask because I'd like to share another mission he can help with while we do the original one. Essentially unsharing one and then sharing another. Then once we drop off the second shared mission, I reshare the original one.

Will this work? If so, why not?

From my minor experience with Wing Missions, I do know that if either of you logs out of the game, the mission becomes unshared, and the Wingman retains the cargo in their hold. The cargo is unique to the mission usually, so if the cargo is dumped, I believe the mission will fail?

I do also know that you can re-share with your Wingperson/toaster/Apache AH-64 at any point (within allocated time, next day/session for example), and they'll be able to continue the delivery.

I know that only gives some answer to your question, but based on that, I'd imagine the mission will not fail if you unshare it, and be able to re-share it at a later point.
However, if they have cargo already, you'll have to deliver said cargo (unless they have the capacity for both missions).

Handing in the mission is the key here.

You have to both be online, in a wing and have the mission shared to get rewards. If you hand in with the mission not shared even though your friend has submitted towards the mission they get nothing. If you hand in the mission then you both go offline your friend will still get rewards when they come back online as you completed when you were in a wing online and shared.

For example deliver 500 units for 20 million.

You both hand in 250 units you hand in go offline... as long as you were winged up and online with the mission shared it will show as completed for your friend. Hope that makes sense!
