Unstable text and graphics close up

Hi,

Anyone else experiencing that text and graphics close up in the cockpit as example are unstable and it looks like they are vibrating or "crawling" so to say.

Happens sometimes, not always.

Especially noticable when looking close on i.e middle panel below legs and hotas in the ship. Focusing on those items looks like the graphics are unstable.

Yeah, same here.

Been intermittent like this since I got VR and noticed the same on pretty much all objects that get close, both on vive or the rift.

Feels to me something is vibrating, and not necessarily the headset or the tracking.

I had an incident last week where one of my cameras lost tracking, and the other was on the edge of intended tracking range.
Resulting that my HMD would shift a couple of inches at intermittent intervals, almost made me heave and bugged the crap out of me.

That's just tracking jitter. Not ED relevant, maybe you notice it more here when something is up close like a HUD panel.

I've had distortions of menus because of bad performance in stations and the reprojection that's kicking in because of it. When I reduced my graphics quality enough to get constant 90 fps in stations, it disappeared.

Have that as well sometimes. Its not tracking jitter as its only the GUI elements that "shake", not the ship, planets, space or space station interiors.
Its slightly annoying at best =)

I dont think it is tracking jitter since it is happening when head is completely still and focusing on an object, chair, joystick or HUD in the game.

The vibration start in cycles and continues. This does not happen in Rift home screen.
Could perhaps be related to ASW?

I will test.

Ah sorry, I have a Vive. No clue about a Rift.

It seems to be an Elite issue, my Rift does not suffer from this in any other game. I also believe it is linked to frame rate, as in the lower your FPS the more prenounced the vibrations appear. That said, even at 90FPS I still see the vibration when looking at something up close, particularly my pilots body. Its been like it since the DK2 days.
