I was beginning to wonder if lone ELW's actually existed in game. With the exception of Tun I've never seen one in all my travels!
That is impressive. A "naturally-occurring Bast". I have been looking for one and I trawled the ELW dabase to see if one had been found yet, and didn't see one. I had been wondering if the stellar forge could generate such things without human help. Someone did post a solitary ELW they'd found around a neutron star, but I'd hardly call that "normal".
There are several such systems within the Bubble, where there's just a star and an Earth-like planet. All hand-crafted; in a sense, they are homages to the original Elite game, where every star system had just one star, just one planet and just one space station. But I have never seen a procedurally-generated one before. The ultimate prize, of course, would be finding one around a solitary star rather than a binary, and without an asteroid belt or anything else in the system. Single-planet-in-stable-orbit systems are excessively rare; as a general rule, if a star has planets, it either has several of them, or has a single planet in a wildly eccentric orbit which would disqualify the planet from ELW classification.

Fun fact... That system is amongst a whole batch of data I lost when I accidentally got blown up by the coppers without selling all my data, some time last year. Even funnier fact, I don't have the system name. I think, this is a challenge by the RNG for me. Find it again and tag it!
The only hint I have is the next system screenshot I took of the next ELW I found. No idea how far apart they are or what relative vector... \o/

That is gorgeous. I now have my eye out for that singleton ELW! Rounding the core through the eastern Neutron field at +1,200 and turning for the northern fields heading for the NW quadrant of the galaxy. Looks a bit sparsely explored there...
