Unknown Permit systems have piqued my curiosity. Since encountering them around Barnard's Loop about a year ago, there was some speculation that the Devs were modeling some interesting stuff in those systems. There are also several in the COL 70 Sector outside the Witchhead. It seems the time is nigh, and their location is suspiciously convenient to the Thargoid plotline from Barnard's Loop to the California Nebula.
I could imagine the Thargoids looking up at the loop at some point in their buggy evolution and see a Big Bug Eye looking back at them as inscribed on the barnacles. Anybody else see these UP systems as reserved for potential alien sites? o7
