This update contains bug fixes

General Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • Animals
    • Nine-Banded Armadillo adult male and female will now interact with the Natural Termite Mound
  • Game Modes
    • Fixed an issue where updating the terrain in diorama mode would cover paths, changed to match all over terrain tools
  • Guests
    • Fixed an issue where tour guests wouldn't use the bins they passed while following a presenter
  • Scenery
    • Added localisation for the Education sub category under Facilities in the browser
  • UI
    • Fixed an issue with the 'Facility Inaccessible' notification coming up for tour spots
    • Fixed an issue with animal navigation heatmaps not updating after switching to a different animal
  • Crashes
    • Fixed a crash that could occur when assigning a vendor to a single shop
    • Fixed a crash that could occur sometimes after multiple butterfly births in the same frame push the population over the exhibit limit
    • Fixed a crash that could happen if a butterfly dies while landing on a guest
    • Fixed a rare crash that could happen when manipulating tour spots in the tour manager
Known Issues
  • If you have a save with over 95 butterflies in a single exhibit that crashed due to the exhibit limit, clearing these out below the limit should now avoid this crash

wow, that was pretty fast I have to say.. LOVE IT!
thanks frontier for another great small patch! so glad that the armadillo back with the Natural Termite Mound! and really great things here! thanks frontier, really thank u!

Hoping other animals that use the artificial mound will be patched to use the natural one, aardvark and pangolin first and foremost. Awesome stuff.

Seconding the new Aussie animals enriching the old ones; the wombat also has no enrichment with the other marsupials, and, while I can get cassowaries and platypodes not getting along with other animals, if koalas and kangaroos enrich each other, no reason to not throw in emus, wallabies and wombats into the mix.

It was very fast. Please enrich Bongo with Pygmy Hippotamus. I have a photo that proves it that gets along very well

African rainforest enrichment group with bongos, okapies and pigmy hippos would be nice as well. And babirusa and Malayan tapir.

Glad they fixed fast the armadillo eating the natural termite mound. I hope other animals in future updates will have interactions not restricted to a specific dlc. Remember que dall sheep could use ibex climbing rock or the bears and cats could use the hammock from south east asia dlc

Glad the natural termite mound is finally getting some more use, although I really wish it could still be retrofitted to the aardvark, etc.

I also feel compelled to again bring up that guests have gone back to not viewing walkthrough exhibits from outside even with null barriers, and that it'd be really great if bat sounds actually permeated null barriers.

Totally agree with the emus and wallabies, but wombats are naturally territorial and aggressive and so are rarely kept with other species.

Is it possible that the chances to get color variants in sandbox are near 0 at the moment? I had to wait for over 250 ingame years and didn't get any black caracal, white tiger or lion (only 2 king cheetah, 2 black jaguars, 1 golden blue wildebeest and dozens of golden animals).
@frontier could you please rise these chances at least in sandbox mode to a level where I don't have to waste days of playing just in 5 times speed to get some of these animals? I mean....the franchise mode is flooded with these animals while it's nearly impossible to get some in sandbox (because actually the sandbox mode should be the one without that much limitations).
