Speaking of leaks, there is a warning I've been trying to say aloud in these forums but with no heeds.Fisrt off, lmao @ THICC.... I low key chuckled inside. Off top, I get where you comin from. I can't recall off the dome what the ratings were at the time it was first released, but we were all geeked up for a game like this. Granted we know games are always going to improve on the base game overtime #facts. Updates and DLCs are necessary and show the fans that they want to improve upon the content. I cain't lie, it woulda been nice to have some sorta timeline to keep us abreast of upcoming amendments rather than looking to people who leak information and find out that leak to be true once DLC comes out. We also don't know what kind of limitations and restrictions Universal executives had to say. I work in entertainment and it can bind your hands in some ways especially when you partner and are in contractual agreements with LARGE corporations. For the project I was working on, if Netflix executives didn't like it or approve it, we had to change it. So I'm not sure how much creative control they had on this project. Who knows what NDA's had to be put in place with Universal. Planet Coaster and Planet Zoo are different narrative. I guess we'll never really know.
Just because one or almost every piece (not every single one) of information in one or more leaks proves true, and/or even just generally complies to our feelings whether or not proven so or otherwise, doesn't mean the entirety of the leaks or their source(s) are 100% true. This has happened countless times forever with anything involved with the gaming industry where both very true and very false information and details can blend in together.
And knowing that any one anonymous person or people from verifiable official companies can send emails to anyone they can reach, or even just make typical posts anywhere on the internet, by another or more anonymous individuals you don't know, you'll never truly know what they might be sharing is entirely true, false, mistaken, outdated, or even mixed, whether or not intentions are to deceive or not.
