Update 1.6 Private Group: No Wings???

I was wondering if anyone is experiencing this problem. When ever I am in a private group. It seems I can not start a wing. On top of it. I can not see my friends location in the galaxy map. Is anyone else having this problem?

Probably a stupid question, but your friends are in your private group, right? If you started the private group, they need to follow you to gain access to it.
