Update 1.9.2 is now available for download. Simply update your game before you play! This update includes various bug fixes, and you can read more below:

Planet Zoo - 1.9.2 Update Notes

This update contains bug fixes.

General Bug Fixes and Improvements
  • Misc
    • Fixed an issue in Scenario 2 where the name of the Bornean Orangutan that was required to release was wrong, the name "Agung" is now back
    • Re-balanced the biome temperatures in Tundra levels so the snow stays mostly settled without the need for the weather to constantly snow
  • Stability
    • Fixed rare crashes with the management windows
    • Fixed a crash that could happen when editing interface settings
    • Fixed a crash that could happen when clicking the locate button on an objective
    • Fixed crash when undoing the deletion of large lakes
    • Fixed rare crash when deleting habitat barriers
    • General stability fixes
  • Performance
    • General performance fixes

Thanks for the update !
Did someone test the performances for this new update ? Is it better ?
It was pretty hard to play since the 1.9.0 in big park (lost of framerate).

Am i the only one without the new update?
After starting Steam, there are no updates avaiable, i've tried already to verify the files and restarting Steam, and Planet Zoo is in the games with high priority for the updates. It's just not showing up 😢

If I recall, the update was a smaller one, could it maybe install so quickly that you did not notice? You could check in game the number of the build on the main screen.

I've tried to verify the files again but nothing, guess i have to wait a little more, even if it's strange..first time that something like this happens 🤷‍♂️

Edit: There it comes! phew, i was starting to worry about future updates..

Do you consider on adding an Antarctic pack?

Weddell Seals and other creatures from the Antarctic continent are missing. Maps needs temperatures that are able to fall at -80 like in Antarctica at the peak of winter.

But why... there isn't a single zoo in Antarctica, none of it's seal species are kept in zoos, and we already have 2 penguins including one from Antarctica.

But why? There are so many species of seal and sea lion that are ALSO not available. The Weddell seal looks pretty generic and ISN'T KEPT IN ANY ZOOS. I'd prefer the walrus and harbor seal. Then again, I guess it's all just a matter of taste.

I know that Weddell seals are not kept in zoos. Despite that, it would still be amazing to have them in Planet Zoo. Walrus and other missing species of seals are also interesting to have in Planet Zoo.
