It is quite marked. Note how the Horizons planet's "glow" is gradually masked by the planet as you get closer.

to me feels like its like it's loosing something since the days of when a hairy Viking was in the drivers seat...………
its old texture's terrain and its perfect flow etc
todays elite is the same game but not cant quite put my finger on it ………..
it's the same beastie but its lost a hell of a lot of its finesse imo
its becoming a bit of a minger from inside to out
