Oh - don't forget the mis-aligned DC approach to the docking port and the 90 degree off hoogram in SC as you approach a station.

Is the 90 degree off hologram still a thing? I haven’t noticed it in my last few approaches when I was trying to arrive lined up.

Yeah, from some distance is visible, but closer to landing appears normal. Noticed anytime in FC landing (excellent landing deck view). It's cosmetic, not worth effort.

That and it seems like all station orbits are much tighter in EDO. It certainly feels like the EDO approach to station is far different from what it was in 3.8

That, and the thruster calibration is still off - noticeably landing a Cutter at a FC

Also the DC alignment to the docking port on entrance is still skewed about 15 degrees clockwise

But in general, I'm finding the EDO performance a bit improved. I'm very grateful that the system connectors on the Galaxy map no longer have to be reset every time I log on and swapping ships is excellent now.

I don't know if some one else did notice... but I've some new things which don't work as it used to be: 1) completing wing missions requires most of the times to go back at mission menu, then click again on complete mission back and forth (and getting longer delay for receiving the reward message) 2) the comm/chat sometimes get stuck and can't navigate any more (see below an example) and even exiting the game to the main menu doesn't resolve it (I have to CLOSE the game).

Also 3) the cargo bug is not yet resolved when buying from Carriers... items not appearing on inventory, etc. but now this is even more annoying as to complete multiple missions there's the risk to do it more trips as to show the correct inventory another commodity needs to be purchased (i.e. the last one is not displayed so if 2 are needed, I had to buy 1t of a random third one to have the cargo hold displayed correctly in the right screen).

Sorry but I am not going to add these to the bug tool unless I'm paid as tester.

Avoid clicking on chat messages to perform actions, or else this happens. Use the local contacts/friends menu to DM or wing people instead.

(Trying to organise wings for AX has been so much fun with this bug, and the contacts list constantly rearranging itself every second when you're trying to find someone's name. Issue is here for upvoting: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/55658 )

Ok but... it does look a bit akward as a way out, given I have a ton of friends and sometimes I'm talking to many of them and the fastest way to reply is (as it used to be) to select one's last message (because that friend can be 1000ly away and the list is sorted by distance so scrolling the whole list is just annoying).
 
Is fleet carrier route planning partially broken since release of U14 or just me experiencing this? First time I open a target system map it doesn't allow to set a route, after getting back to galaxy map and opening system map again it works. So annoying as it also jumps back to carrier origin location when going back to galaxy map.

Not just you, I had similar problems soon after the update, I've been doing only non-carrier stuff since so haven't tested it again but I wouldn't be surprised if it is still broken.
 
I also had many issues with top level panel while driving SRV
  • Not updating other player avatars
  • Not showing selection for the other player
  • Not allowing to switch sub-tabs on chat tab
  • And even sometimes blocking all controls getting stuck in there
Very frustrating experience especially in combination with not activating pylons on Guardian site. And seems that the shuttering which disappeared just after the release of U14 eventually came back.
 
  • Damaged megaships with functional escape hatches will now deploy escape pods automatically when rescue ships are nearby, rather than asking the player to use a hatch-breaker limpet.
@sallymorganmoore the above line was in the patch notes but does not seem to have been implemented at all in-game, damaged megaship scenarios still behave exactly as they did before update 14 (requiring players to use hatch-breakers to release escape pods).
