This is not a suggestion, but more so an idea, because this idea would theoretically be pretty hard to pull off since it would introduce many additional animations and behaviors, and Jurassic World Evolution 2 typically has more simplistic mechanics, so this idea wouldn't be very fitting in the game anyways. Due to how extensive it would be, its systems could be part of an expansion pack rather than a free update.
Also, this isn't necessarily my best JWE2 idea, but I'm pretty much out of ideas for things that could be added.
Anyways, here's the idea.
A complete revamp of dinosaur illnesses and injuries, with unique animations and behaviors for various diseases and conditions.
Here's the rundown:
Avian Influenza: Dinosaurs will periodically play one of two animations, one being a drowsy idle/walking animation and the other being a sneeze animation.
Avian Pox: Dinosaurs will periodically play a drowsy animation. (Preferably re-use various sickness animations to keep it simple)
Chronic Stress: The marine reptile will swim slower than usual, and may neglect eating food.
Common Cold: Dinosaurs will periodically play a sneeze animation while idle or walking.
Cryptosporidiosis: Dinosaurs will play a cough-like animation.
E. Coli: The dinosaur plays an animation of discomfort from time to time.
Hookworms: The dinosaur plays an animation of discomfort from time to time.
Ivy Poisoning: The dinosaur plays itching animations.
Rabies (Escalated): The dinosaur plays a rabid/hyper animation.
Salmonella: Dinosaurs will periodically play a drowsy animation.
Tuberculosis: Dinosaurs will play various sickness animations mentioned above.
Broken Claw: The dinosaur will move more slowly and/or limp.
Broken Wing: Flight becomes staggered.
Concussion: Affected animals will sometimes play a dizzy animation and/or stumble.
Damaged Tooth: Affected animals deal less damage during duels.
Hypothermia: Uses the aforementioned drowsiness animation, and/or shivering.
Fractures: Light/moderate limping, depending on which type of fracture.
