Update for Epic users receiving "Skartlet Krait" a lot.

Thank you. I did that "jump to main menu" workaround, but so far it doesn't work. And this solution doesn't work as well, just returned from my session, I've returned with mission goods, done mission, sold some goods in menu and tried to jump to main menu and Scarlett Krait, yay :)

Who says I judged quickly? I checked my own end first, then put in a ticket to FD. And again, FD have literally said there's a problem with Epic users, so not sure why you're saying that it might not be Epic, despite FD clearly saying there definitely is a problem for Epic users. Unless you mean the problem with FD interacting with Epic might be FD's fault, not Epic's? Though if it was FD's fault it's far more likely it wouldn't be affecting Epic users more than anyone else.

Yes, and no. Don't forget, relative to the other platforms, (especially steam) it's pretty new, community takes time, plus it's just doing what Origin and Uplay are doing, - without the (not-so-)micro transactions - providing a store, it has a friends feature and you can message them, also it does (sometimes) get some exclusive / timed exclusives also. So if you're desperate to play something that's exclusive / timed to them, you're still gonna give them money, even if you then buy it agian on another platform asap. I do have some games that I paid actual money for on Epic, they're just heavily outnumbered by the freebies - most of which are 💩 and I never intend to play - but free is free, right? :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Something like that. It could be a milion things, why that's happening, for instance on my steam account Frontier account I have a product codes and everything, on my Epic user Frontier accounts I don't see anything (looks like I don't own the game at all). It might be that, just the Elite Client is trying to contact Frontier servers and found there is no Elite game at that account, so it shuts down the game. Like I said, it could be anything. But I hope it could be resolved at all :)

Yea :) I just don't like the idea (not yours, just in common) people tend to say, something like "it's free, so I don't mind if it doesn't work so well." No, goddamit, despite the price, people should expect a quality, not just "a fodder." There are some poor souls who paid for Elite on Epic and they have the same issue :-D

Yea :) But they're games I had never played if they wasnt free at the first place :-D And some of those "indie titles" might be good, I tried that 2D game about a boy who's going "always right," (I don't remember the name, Inside I think) -- it looks fine, graphics is good and so on :) But that's a game I would never pay or play in the first place, now when I see it's good I don't mind to pay a few bucks for the creators.

I have a fully paid for account, I don´t even know what this Epic you are referring to is, and I am getting thrown out anyways. When I started to play today, I was able to stay connected for a couple of hours, then suddenly this scarlet Krait began to happen, and now I can play for about 30 seconds before disconnection.

Server problem? Scarlet Krait?

I just had two scarlet krait crashes after a couple of mimutes of play. Wossthatallabout? "Any word on the off-line version?"

Well, either try the steps shown on FDev help page when you do a 30 second search for "Scarlet Krait" on the help section, it's shown limited success person to person, or submit a ticket to FDev.
This post was only to get the info out there that there's a literal, known problem with Epic. 😁

I play without EPIC and without STEAM and still getting the same disconnect scarlet krait error every minute or two.

My father plays with a STEAM client and has the same issues.

So, since obviously almost everyone is affected i think it has nothing to do with EPIC or STEAM.

Well, yes, but also no.

Anyone is capable of being affected by connection issues. Whether is "Scarlet Krait" "Mauve Adder"... etc. But there is/was (dunno if they've gotten to the bottom of it and fixed it yet) a clear, known admitted issue that affects Epic users that they are working on.

So this is actually an issue we have become aware of. It seems to be affecting mainly Epic games players, and so we have opened an internal investigation for this.
Unfortunately we do not have an ETA on a fix for the disconnections, however rest assured the development team are on the case.

I did read it before and all they say is "it seems to be affecting mainly EPIC games players".
"it seems" means to me they are not sure.

However, the current situation is:
No matter if you are playing with EPIC, STEAM or FRONTIER client you will get the "Scarlet Krait" error.
So it is kinda clear to me that the current mass disconnects the players are recieving (no matter what client) can't be just an EPIC problem.

True, it's absolutely not just Epic users.

So anyone can be affected by issues and at time of posting, just over a month ago, Epic players were having noticably more disconnects than other users. That may have changed since, but on top of the regular disconnects and problems everyone is succeptible to, Epic users had/have a problem others' did not.
