UPDATE: I... was... RIGHT about Return to Jurassic Park’s “Beta”!

Just a couple of hours ago, The team behind the upcoming DLC at Frontier Developments have showcased some more stuff about Return to Jurassic Park. All this time since the early access gameplay that some YouTubers revealed, there were arguments as to “why feature x or y are not in the game as we saw in the picture?! They’re just TROLLING US!!!” out of conclusion.

Welp, now those features from the pictures (Ford Explorer Jeep and electrical trackway, and the JP style hatchery) are seen in the gameplay of that livestream! And it’s just as I predicted in my previous thread post. The early access gameplay the YouTubers shown was just a much earlier build of that DLC, and for big structure stuff reveals like the said above from the post-release in-game pictures for something like this is never revealed and then just removed like that by them! I know how Frontier reveal their stuff for post-launch games like this because I’ve been learning how they do it, and it’s always with confidence that they will release said structure features in said respective updates and DLCs.

Because of all of this, this is definitely something to get really exited for what’s about to come soon at the end of the day!😁

I mean everyone pretty much already knew some form of the Ford Explorer was going to be in the game since it was seen in a screenshot weeks ago. Not really much to predict.

It's nice to see the JP3 male raptor in there though, since we hadn't seen that one yet.

We kind of knew it was in there from the DLC but it is nice to have it confirmed. We actually saw it. I just wish they would have shown us more of the DLC. Kind of go out with a bang since they are going away for the holidays. They must be keeping a lot of stuff secret in that DLC.

Congrats Nostradamus for predicting what I've been saying for a week now: "this build is a month old"

I am only concerned as of WHY they aren't using the JW version of the aviary for the, well, JW parks style

It's a big building, takes a while to make. And if we are getting some other DLC or free update with a Dimorphodon, that might be a logical time to add a JW aviary as well.

My guess is hardware. Specifically console hardware. That's why they didn't use the JW style of aviary. I imagine all that glass and reflection would not do well with consoles. Of course they could just disable it in the console version.

The JP Aviary looks better anyway. The JW Aviary looked like a big greenhouse.

You make a good point BUT if you believe the leak, this was the last real DLC
Last big DLC for the game as a whole, or the last big DLC from what was gathered for the leaks during that specific time?

Leaks don’t always predict the future accurately. Things build up or change overtime when they can.

Electric Tracks should generate a paved road beneath them. This needs to be updated to be movie accurate. Who would stick an electric track in the mud???

if true than something tells me that this particular DLC is going to be a major disappointment aptly because most of these awesome assets/features WILL NOT be incorporated into the vanilla base game or be restricted to sandbox and challenge mode ONLY. it's Ghostbusters DLC from Planet Coaster all over again and right now my confidence in frontier is at an all-time low they mess up on this DLC and it's going to sink down even further to the point of non-existence.
What exactly did they say about that DLC and what exactly did you perceive that got you to this point? Sounds like these things just aren't for you in particular at all.

The Re-models, new animals and Aviary are things you can bring back to the main campaign. It's a pretty solid minimum, though there's a pretty good chance it's the maximum too.

it's what and how they are doing that concerns me. if you ever bought the Ghostbusters DLC for Planet Coaster you would understand.
At the end of the day, regardless, everything you like, want, and perceive from this POV is only your personal opinion. Nobody can please everybody, keep that in mind.

You mean the Ghost Busters DLC that has a positive rating? I bought it and I don't have an issue with it. I know some people have complaints. But just because people complain it doesn't make them right.

well that's funny of you to say that because CDPR finds a way to please everyone regardless i will find out how good or bad this DLC will be when it comes out from other people. it's if it's good great. if it's not then i was right on the money with how frontier repeated the same mistakes they did in the GB DLC.
If you look and think enough, do you think every person in the world who knows will like what CDPR does? Do you think everybody in the world will show pleasure or displeasure to them directly? Does every single person in the world who know them have the will to do everything one or more can do?

For media projects like these, there will always be "likers" and "dislikers" regardless how successful or unsuccessful a product was in marketing and reception.

well i can tell you that their rep is a WHOLE lot better than frontier's
Then they are your own preference. Not every person will agree, but it's what you like to keep you happy. If you don't like this developer company, EVER, then why are you here? Not everybody feels the same pain against them as you.
