Happend with 1.03 or so as well. Wait a minute and an announcement will be there :)

Allthough I find it strange to release something new just before the weekend. We never do that, for what its worth...

Well, given the issues that are still out there with the latest patches, they damned well better be releasing something new before the weekend, otherwise there would be a lot of players taking the weekend off.

If I released my code with even 1% of the bugs that FDEV did, I would have been fired 100 times over, never mind releasing this untested dross on a Friday. Proper development shops use a release schedule, (because there is actual dev->test->QA->prod going on) not "whenever the hell we feel like it".

How to fix the Galactic economy? Here's how:
All MED/HIGH supply prices should be below/far below the galactic average.
All MED/HIGH demand prices should be above/far above the galactic average.
NPC's should be restricted to transporting commodities worth less than 500CR per ton to a distance of 8LY.

What? You mean an economic model based on supply and demand?
I love the game, but there do seem to be some fundamental flaws.

and on develop/test/release... yep to be releasing a patch each day since a point release would point to a lack of testing during the point release beta. Or a lack of resource to process the feedback from the testing.

Given what recently happened I'd rather not have a 'will the last person to leave the office press the update button' situation. I want people around to deal with problems.

How quickly these threads turn negative. Dev's are damned if they do and damned if they don't. Loving the fact that they are working on patches and tweaks so rigorously myself. But then I'm a glass half full kinda guy.

No fear, they've been working most Saturdays for a while.
