Update Issue

Just tried to start ED and got a message from the launcher that it needs an update via Steam.

Go into Steam and the only updates queued are one for the new MS Flight Simulator (god help me) and American Truck Sim. Nothing for ED and nothing downloading in the background I can see.

Any suggestions?

It was a quick update on steam - see if you have an obscured box saying it is ready to play.

If you do exactly what the text on the launcher tells you, it sorts it out.

Its only a small 499GB update every 3 days.

G'day all,
On starting up Windows 10 and then E.D. I receive the screen that an update is awaiting download.
On pressing the download button nothing happens, it appears to freeze.
On shutting off ED
I to am receiving the message "update quota insufficient' which does not explain what the problem is.
I am a Windows 10 user of Elite Dangerous Horizons.
I have just updated Windows 10.
I have shut down and rebooted Windows 10, there fore the machine is clean.
I have never had this problem before and its a definite pain , its defiantly not my end that causing it.

Can you clearly suggest what is causing this new problum and what I can do to complete the download.

LATE NOTE. After sitting with no action for 5 minutes, ED DID update itself, so I am none the wiser as to what happened..
