Updated Dilophosaurus models

Just have to also say this, as I hope frontier will see this post as they have graciously with many of our other requests.
I watched BestInSlots video on how the Dilophosaurus model needs a major upgrade, and I agree with him. Hopefully if enough people voice their opinion, maybe frontier will update the model.

The Camp Cretaceous model is more film accurate to the franchise then JWE. I also suggest that the venom of the Dilophosaurus would be used more often out of defense and out of attacking larger prey items as well. Give your suggestions or opinions too!

It's been an issue for a very long time.

The model just isn't very unique or pretty in the Evolution titles, the changes made in JWE2 felt more like they looked at the poorly received Dominion redesign and followed suit. Bestinslot even points out the frill changes between JWE and JWE2 and how it seemingly got worse. I just wished he had a 3-way comparison with the Dominion model so you could see more clearly what the JWE2 model is based on.

Almost inarguably the shape of the head is the worst part. It has this baby T-Rex thing going on like the Dimorphodons and these weird knee pads. Honestly, its kind of sad since the Dilo has a unique skull shape with the upper jaw hosting a subnarial gap so think more in the vein of the Spinosaurids. I hope Frontier does rework it at some point or at least gives it a 1993 variant.

I don’t know about “reworking” on canon dino meshes to be more “realistic”. Frontier never makes original (non-Jurassic) designs for living appearing canon species.

Frontier hasn't... but there is precedence for it through Jurassic World Alive... so realistic variants at least seems plausible...

I think in this case it may pay off since it would make the Dilo look more distinct. Having said that, even if we could just get it more in line with the 1993 Dilo that would be plenty, the shape of the head in particular is just iffy to say the least. Here's to hoping anyway.

Ludia has more creative direction for their mobile games. The JWE series, from what I can tell, are aimed to be much more authentic, well themed, and faithful to the core canon source material by comparison. I am almost certain Universal has much more creative control and direction for Frontier and the JWE games to achieve the latter than what they might have for Ludia and any of their IOS games. Different game dev companies also aim for different things, and don’t mean they can or should be equal.
