Updated future odyssey content??

Odyssey was supposed to BE the big new thing that you are talking about. Only reason we are even asking questions about when new Odyssey content is planned to come out is because of how poorly Odyssey has gone over for most players.

Still is a big new step for me at least, yes it needs more cream to get that real Odyssey vibe to it thats why we ask/want more, at least someday a fresh updated roadmap is needed

I didn´t found a thread about new relevant content updates who are planned for the future. Is there any info on a roadmap or anything what will happen with odyseey like atmo planets, space stations variations or other things?

There's Update 15 coming early 2023 end of April. It may contain stuff never done before, the devs are excited.

And there's Update 16 coming at the end of the year.

No further details.

I assume they don't have anything to deliver. Regarding their slow and poor development it will be just minor bug fixing and cosmetics. Update 15 and 16 could be more repitive mechanics like new CZ's, missions and text base story telling.

Not sure if you've watched the livestreams but the promised "never attempted before in any game" feature is the thargoid war that we're currently fighting.
The "major feature revamp" is still to come.

Is this the "Key Feature Overhaul Update"? I cannot find a statement or info from FD how the next Updates will be delivered or what they will deliver?

yep, one would think they are in pause mode but no, this is the regular slow developement how it was the last years since 2015... 7 years! But at least, should they release an roadmap of the things they want to bring in or a info about that nothing will come further.

If they would show always a very tiny sneaky insight on what they are working on I would but a "lets play" video isn´t in my interest.

They're notoriously tight lipped about that stuff at the moment because it feeds into the storyline.

Even on the patch notes of U14- the very place you'd expect to see details of changes- there was a statement to the effect of "we're not going to reveal anything that we want players to discover for themselves by playing the game".

Depends on who you ask, that's why I used 'may'. Unless I missed something, in that case I'd be happy to see a source.

We don't really know. Frontier haven't talked about that key feature overhaul ever again. So U15 could be that, or it could replace it. 🤷‍♂️

My view is to assume nothing until they say something, but knowing that there will be a something.

We're past the point of dedicated fix updates, so it seems to me it's a case of enjoying what is put in front of us.

the missing roadmap for 2023 says all. I wonder also why the shares of FDEV plunged few weaks ago. Maybe a sign of the bad condition regarding FDEV and if so a major investor left. Very sad for such potential game.
