Updated user guide?

Only today I remembered to check if the user/player guide for Elite Dangerous was updated.

Well to my astonishment, the user guides references version 2.4 of the game... When we are in 3.x since the end of 2018.

I don't bring this up because of me, since I have been playing the game for 3 years now. I am thinking about the new players who come to the game and are totally lost.

So, when will the user guide be updated? Only after the paid update which should come by the end of the year?

I got fed up asking for this to be addressed.

Frankly, some of the stuff presented to people by the game is an embarrassment - manual out of date, launcher shows "news" from Dec and Jan.

Seriously, I am surprised people don't just assume the game is moribund and request refunds without trying it out.

I think if David Braben actually looked at the game at the moment there would be a lot of P45s in the post.

I haven't read it yet. But... I have this weird feeling that it is not as complete as it should be...
