Updates changing HUD Colours

Dear Man in change of updates

thanks i love them
but can you add a feature to change the HUD colour ?

i have to change it every time you give me a lovely update

3 times this week alone

it's a pain in the backside

so please add a feature to change the HUD colour

this would be nice.
any thing customization is good for players.

I'd suggest instead that we ask FDev to give us colour sliders that persist, where we can tune our own HUD to our own preferences...

...manually editing game xml files... never a good place to be...

They've said it's something they want to put in, but the way the HUD was designed makes it difficult to implement. They don't want to put the current hacky way of doing it in the game because it's only about a third of the desired feature.

They added that in the v1.1 update. The GUI team also said that they would love to give us full control over the system but right now it isn't possible due to technical constraints. In other words they would have to rip the whole code up for the GUI system and start again. I'd rather they spent time on updates and fixes than a total rewrite. What we have is workable for the moment.
