I haven't seen an update since the first couple days of release. This worries me, does Frontier think they have made an absolutely perfect game? I have a hard time believing that. I really hope to see some news at least with update news as I was pretty disappointing with the last news update I received no game updates, no fixes, no additions nothing. Anyways I guess I am expecting more out of a game company than most...

Today is only the second day back in the office after the holidays for the devs.
During the holidays there have of course been support staff available, but the people who have been responsible for client side patches have had time off. We will probably get a patch sometime this week to address some of the issues some are having.

They released 3 client updates and several server updates in the first week.
Really? And why is that? Don't forget that a game company is build around something called "humans". They have families, private life and the needs any other human has.
Try reading/searching on the forums. There was a post from one of the Devs yesterday stating that news on upcoming changes was going to be forthcoming.
They likely have to test their updates and bug fixes first to see that they don't break anything. So if they make a fix it would get released several days later. I wouldn't expect any updates until they have been back in the office for a couple of days, maybe end of the week/beginning of next week.

It's almost like they got the initial release stable and then went on some sort of year end break.

No no no no OP is right FD needs to fire every1 and get some slaves instead. Lets put slaves working the game.
