Wouldn't argue with a slightly improved T9 - Although I absolutely love mine and have no issues with it. The T9 IS already better than the Conda for trading as long as the route is below 14LY... That is virtually every trade route I have flown since January. I use my Anaconda for long haul CG trading and deep space exploration.
The Panther Clipper is coming soon, that will be the logical upgrade for freighter captains.

We'll I am expecting it in the 1.5 ships update, they have been showing models of it for a long time now. Obviously I don't know for sure, but I would be surprised if the Corvette/Cutter & Panther don't make an appearance.
Yeah they said 30 with 1.5 update. We are on 20 now then add in the Cobra IV, the imperial eagle, the 2 new dropships and the beluga + dolphin that makes 26. Logic points that the Corvette, Cutter and Panther will all also appear to make 29 but no word on final ship to my knowledge...
I would actually like to see them create a slow lumbering war machine with Lakon 9 variant.
Keep the awful speed and jump range but give it some massive shields and a ton more large c3 (maybe 4?) turrets.

Well if panther clipper comes out, it would most likely qualify for this, last I checked, but yeah could be quite interesting with a beast like that.
