Upgrade the Type-7 to a Size 6 FSD

With the T8 being just flat out better in every way while still being a medium ship and Mandalay being the new jump range king the T7, which wasn't that good to begin with is left even further behind.

Upping its jump range by a fair amount by allowing it to use a bigger FSD and upping the hull mass slightly and/or forcing it to use bigger sensors/life support might be the way to balance it so it stays worse than the conda in jump range.

Last I heard there are tons of Type 7 breaking services available in the Tionisla systems!

Sadly there isn't a point, from Fdevs perspective, "wasting" resources on tweeking the old ships.

I’m gonna have to agree with you in that the T7 desperately needs a rework. It lacked any relevance before due to how it would not fit on a medium pad, but thanks for the type eight existing, it lost any reason to be picked up. Honestly, I’m on the fence of permanently decommissioning mine since I just find they Type 8 to be far more useful. You’re better off finishing a long haul cargo mission or two and buying that over the T7.
