Hi,

due to popular demand we are now offering a discount for existing backers to upgrade your product to include Alpha access, emails are currently being sent out to all backers, but for convenience (and because that will take a while!) here is a copy of that email:

The Elite: Dangerous Alpha is out now and you're invited!

For a limited time we are offering a discount on Alpha access based on the Elite: Dangerous version you already own, simply pay the difference.
Just log into the store and pick up the Alpha, your discount will be automatically shown at the Checkout.

What's in the Alpha?
Take control of a Sidewinder Ship through single player combat scenarios from one-on-one dogfights to facing multiple opponents in an all out battle… Plus, full-on online multiplayer is coming at the end of this month.

Note that the discount is based on the product you have in the store, not your reward level and the upgrade provides the alpha access product only, it doesn't have the associated rewards from the original backers program.

I'd say at them moment it's just Alpha as Michael didn't say anything about Beta.

That might change when the Alpha finishes though.

My account only shows the standard Beta even though I backed to the Digital download pack level £85 with expansions.

When I log into the store and add the Alpha it still says £200 at the checkout stage and not £115 (my wife is going to kill me if she ever finds out!)

Pop a email over to support@zaonce.net They will look into it for you.

Premium beta was at £100, but the discount structure may not have gone totally live yet.

This is because the shop currently shows those things available to buy, which cover your rewards. Premium beta would be included if you had pledged up to first round beta test. When the digital downloads will become available, you will show as having it, don't worry :)

However, the difference between alpha and standard beta is the difference in price at the shop, not the difference in pledge value between the two pledges. Bit confusing but hopefully you get me.

When I log into the store it doesn't show any orders at all, even though I threw 80 quid at it last year. That's a little disconcerting too.

Yep, I realise that, my problem is I'm trying to upgrade to Alpha now and it's still trying to charge me £200 rather than £115.

If you read the FAQ on the store it says if you have the expansions you pay £115

I did, some time ago, never got a reply. I sent them my paypal receipt too.

It says 'you haven't ordered any products yet'.

I'd be willing to throw some more money at them, but not whilst it says I've not bought anything.

I hope your purchases turn up Chock!

I am in the same boat as metanoia as far as £115 not showing up only the full £200.
Hopefully it will percolate through the system shortly, I mean I only got the email about half an hour ago.
