Upgrade to Alpha

I got email today and it said "Upgrade to Alpha

For a limited time we are offering a discount on Alpha access based on the Elite: Dangerous version you already own, simply pay the difference."

So its still 200 for alpha.
I paid 150 for the 2nd beta.

So not seeing a discount for the upgrade to alpha.

How much off is it?

Not much of a discount for me.
I paid £80 already for the Kickstarter Digital Download Pack.
When I get to the checkout for Alpha I get a £50 discount.
So £230 including what I've already paid.

Even if it was an £80 discount I still wouldn't have paid £120 for Alpha access. I can wait till Beta 2 and as much as I love Elite and looking forward to E: D I can't justify that much money for a single game. £80 with all the expansions and kickstarter rewards was IMO fair value for money, paid as much for BF3 and Premium on the xbox (BF4 + Premium on the PC was so much cheaper :) )

I have exactly the same, what's more I'm not convinced that I'll get the extra £30 upgrade. I guess I'm going to wait and see what I get when it comes out.
